Support to companies in preparing project proposals for “Horizon Europe”
Support to companies in the preparation of project proposals for the EU program "Horizon Europe" is designed in such a manner to provide comprehensive assistance to companies interested in securing grants from the Program, while they are preparing project documentation.
The “Horizon Europe” program offers a full range of open calls for projects for which companies can apply at all stages of their development - from start-ups, through small and medium-sized companies to large enterprises. In order to apply for funds, all companies need to have an innovative component in their business.
The first step in the support program was an online workshop held on March 4, 2022, which was attended by over 30 company representatives. At this workshop, participants were introduced to the Horizon Europe program, an overview was presented and examples of calls from Pillar I (Excellent Science) in which companies can participate, Pillar II (Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness) and Pillar III (Innovative Europe) which intended for companies at all stages of development. The last segment of this introductory seminar was dedicated to the layout of the application form and the clarification of all sections to be described in the project proposal.
After the introductory workshop, as part of the second step, all interested companies will work on the development of ideas and proposals of their projects, independently or within a project consortium.
As a third step of support, additional workshop will be organized, which will provide companies that have developed the initial idea and project proposal, concrete knowledge on how to prepare sections of project proposals, which include: project objectives, methodological approach, description of work packages, risk matrix, description of the project consortium, measures for exploitation and dissemination of project results, communication activities on the project and more.
The final step in supporting companies is designed as individual work, i.e., consultations with an expert on the finalization of the project application for the new cycle, which should open at the end of May 2022. A total of 10 project proposals will receive this type of support.
